Like “I Love Lucy”, the HBCU-centered “A Different World” is playing in rotation everyday somewhere in syndication and cable heaven. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 16 years since Whitley, Dwayne and company signed of for good. Although we’re still clinging to the past Jasmine Guy keeps it moving. Yesterday she hit up the Thurgood Marshall College 22nd Anniversary Dinner (after completing a couple of episodes of “The Vampire Diaries” as ahem Grams).
