When we’re talking artic temperatures, I start think long underwear. Why? Because that cold weather can cut through the heaviest jeans or cords. I’m feeling REI’s Midweight MTS Long Underwear ($30) they’re a polyester Lycra spandex blend that fits snug and the hi-tech MTS fabric draws away perspiration. In other words, they’d be perfect for hiking but I’d just put them all to handle this especially cold weekend.
