The Toronto Film Festival is showcasing all the movies we’ll want to see this fall and in the months to come (as well as those that star in them). One that is bound to make us break out our hankies is “Mother and Child” which stars a strong cast of women including Naomi Watts, Annette Benning and Kerry Washington (with appearances by Lisa Gay Hamilton, Tatyana Ali and S. epatha Merkerson too). The film weaves together three intersecting stories on adoption. Washington plays a woman who wants to adopt a child of her own. Forget the hankie, bring a box of Kleenex to this when it is released next year.
