The semifinals swept through “Dancing With The Stars” this week, and Mya swept the competition with perfect scores and standing ovations. The contestants performed three dances each. Mya was effortlessly goddess-like with a gorgeous waltz that Bruno called, “love set to music.”
With their sultry samba, Mya and Dmitry scored a perfect 30. Their chemistry sizzled on the dance floor, and got the audience on their feet. After that perfect dance, the couple earned more rave reviews with their cha-cha. With a total score of 58 and nearly perfect journey on the show, it’s hard to imagine that Mya wouldn’t make it into next week’s finals.
Last night’s results show included a performance of Be Italian by the Weinstein Company. Alicia Keys and Leona Lewis were on hand to perform their latest singles, and the Bee Gees got the crowd on their feet with the totally apropos “You Should Be Dancing”. In a surprise elimination, Joanna Krupa and her partner Derek Hough were sent home. Mya, Kelly Osbourne and Donny Osmond are the final three that will compete in next week’s finals.
Team D-Mya, for the win!
