Words can’t describe the collective sorrow felt by fans worldwide upon hearing about the sudden passing of superstar MIchael Jackson. For many of us sisters, MJ was our first crush so we’re taking it kind of hard (that’s understandable). Makes you wish you kept old copies of Right On, doesn’t it? Anyway, The King of Pop was an unquestionable talent whose talent touched so many. He will be sorely missed. Let us each give him a standing ovation.

I have to agree with David. I’ve read at least three of your other posts and you dogged him. I was expecting this post to be consistent with you, saying, “good riddance” However, all of a sudden, he becomes a hero again. I can’t say it’s not typical. While he was indeed, a first time crush, for some sisters; there were other sisters and brothers, circulating rumors about him being gay and having a sex change. I am sure you may remember that one. Of course, there is always the “self-hate” accusation. I wonder why you never latched on to his father and brothers ridiculing him for having a big nose and being ugly. Is that not self hate? Why embrace them, when you couldn’t do so with Michael. Black people are pathetic!
