When LisaRaye McCoy became the first Lady of Turks & Caicos it sounded like a beautiful thing. But since she was working in Hollywood and her husband, Michael Missick, was fulfilling his political duties as Premier of the idyllic island it wasn’t going to be easy. Turns out it was an impossible situation. And distance seemed to be the least of their problems. The Premier has been under a cloud of sexual impropriety from the start. And for a time, the actress supported her man like Hillary stood by Bill.
We knew the tide had turned when her publicist issued that press release about Missick and Rosci having a relationship. Plus there are those rape allegation that has been whispered about for months. Then it looked like reconcilliation was on the horizon because LisaRaye went back to the island recently. But not long afterward it became clear that Missick had other thoughts on the matter when he announced their separation. He did a little preemptive strike. In his statement The Premier mentioned wanting an amicable split but matters seem to be going from bad to worse.
Let’s just say that having a physical altercation and the mention of bite marks on both of them and her hospitalization doesn’t sound like that amicable plan is working. The whole situation is downright embarrassing. I am not sure if anger or pride is fueling LisaRaye’s actions but the sister needs to get out of this mess quickly. Now. Missick wants to press charges in an attempt to garner public sympathy.
Let’s face it we never heard of this man before she married him and this situation could end up being more damaging to her. Especially since folks are quick to label her a gold digger. But who said this man actually had money? In fact, this island paradise has been wondering about his possible financial impropriety too.
Now we all have met people who hit our buttons and essentially make us do crazy things. (And a woman scorned is not to be messed with.) But although we have the urge to exact revenge, there comes a time when we need to walk away. LisaRaye this is the moment to step. It’s just not worth it.
