Ladies, this is going to be a good summer musically with several brothers bringing us the music we love. We already have Maxwell and now Chico DeBarge is back with “Addiction” out today—the same day his label mate Joe releases “Signature”. (Plus, Al B. Sure released a new CD last month). Good summer indeed. Anyway, in this slew of crooners I can’t help but root for Chico. He’s trying to come back strong after the drugs, the jail time and other detours. And Talib Kweli and Joe do collaborations with him to bring additional heat. Where’s my fan? But Chico should know that if he brings the music we’ll be right there with him.
