These days I live in jeans more often than I do a suit but every so often I want a change of pace. This winter I turning to cords. In fact, I just purchased a burgundy pair. But when I was in Banana Republic a couple of weeks ago I was smitten with their navy Classic Skinny Cords ($80) and you can probably guess why….I’m looking for things to keep me warm. First stretch makes this a comfortable fit and the slender silhouette means they’ll fit nicely in boots. And the best part is that you can dress them up or down. If I pair them with a cute jacket I’ve got the closest thing I’ll be wearing to a suit most days.
