R&B legend Al Green opened the three week long Sydney Festival 2010 today as the headline act with his three daughters Alva, Ruby and Cora singing backup. The organizers of this Australian music festival have a thing for Al, they’ve been after him for three years. This year he finally said yes. Wish I could have heard a little of “Let’s Stay Together” to start my day.
