I know that you probably thought that it is only rappers like Biggie and Tupac that get the posthumous tribute over and over. Think again. One of the original smooth crooner, Nat King Cole has gotten his share on accolades since death too .A Nightinggale Sang: Tribute to Nat King Cole ($19.99) features odes to Cole from some of the jazz greats as they performed back in 1985 at the Savoy Theater in London. Nina Simone belts out “Young, Gifted and Black” plus my new favorite song “Mississippi Goddam”.
