I decided to watch a few weeks of “Survivor: Tocantins” this season because there were three African Americans contestants. The operative word being “were”. Well, this is the end of week three, and only Taj remains. Folks are dropping like flies and quite frankly, the show it is not all that interesting. I think it has definitely jumped the shark. I am not sure how much longer I can do it. But Taj (yeah the sister from SWV) is trying to hang in there for the long haul so I will try to hang in there with her a bit longer. Read the full story

I can count on one hand the number of times I have actually watched “Survivor,” but with two sisters, one famous the other not, on this season I thought I would give at least one episode a look-see. Well last night turned out to be a good night to watch. Read the full story

If you’ve read my blog before you know that I am not one to watch realit Greg Braxton has an interesting story in the Los Angeles Times about minorities of television, I mean reality television. You see casting directors on so-called unscripted shows actually do try to reflect the cultural, ethnic and lifestyle makeup of America (including not only us, but Asian Americans and gays).
