Many of the sisters who attended the 2010 NAACP Awards last Friday opted to do the short or vibrant thing while others keep it more traditional. All of them looked fabulous.

We may have only seen Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Rihanna and Roberta Flack on stage but there were plenty of sisters in attendance at the Grammy Awards last night.
The American Music Awards usually offers a mixed bag of entertainment—and this year was no different. While there were some great performances, there were also a bunch that made you want to grab your pillow and take a nap. But the attire is always entertaining. Last night, the sisters show up dressed as winners (well mostly). Here, some of the standouts on the Red Carpet where black seemed to be the overriding theme (with one notable exception).

Keri Hilson is doing the her low-key thing as she visits and performs at Much On Demand in Toronto. I guess she has the right idea because competing against Beyoncé and the attention she’s getting on this tour is pointless.
The show itself may have been all over the place but the sisters came out looking like they had at all together (for the most part).

It is hard to believe that singer/songwriter Keri Hilson is dropping her first album, “A Perfect World” tomorrow. Besides writing hits for others, Hilson became more well known for guest appearances in other people’s videos as well as on their CD. I guess you can say that this project is eagerly anticipated—the first single came out last summer. But maybe it was worth the wait . The third single, her song with Weezy “Turnin Me On” has folks paying attention. She’s also got cuts with Kanye, Keyshia Cole and producer Timbaland too. Plus, I like her spirit. In her My Space vlog she talks about how excited she is about going to the Virgin Megastore so she can buy her own CD.
