Since I will be abandoning my turtlenecks any day now (fingers crossed), I am looking for new things to adorn my neck. This R. J. Graziano Double Row Lucite Necklace ($55) caught my eye because it’s clear and will be the ideal accessory with almost anything. But it will probably look exceptionally good with a strapless dress. Can you tell I’m already longing for summer?

There something about a black and white combination that never goes out of fashion. And these large graphic number emblazoned on the Kate Spade ‘Idiom’ Wide Enamel Bracelet ($98) just scream ‘fun’ to me. The designer has also inscribed a message inside the bangle as well. This one says “Seize the Day”. Bring on Spring stat!

As I mentioned previously, I haven’t really been glued to my television watching The Winter Olympics. But that doesn’t mean by I can’t be inspired by Olympic style or maybe a better analogy might be “Percy Jackson & The Olympians:The Lightening Thief” (which, believe it or not, I really want to see). Anyway, no matter what inspired me, I heart this hammered metal Olympian Cuff $38 from Anthropologie. A great accent piece for any sleeveless dress or top.

Remember when we used to all show off our silver bangles from Jamaica (or any other island in the Carribean)? That started our love affair with bracelets which now run the gamut between dainty charms and tennis bracelets to cuffs. I like this Handcuff Wide Bracelet ($128) because it’s a hybrid between a bangle and a cuff. An Italian leather inlay holds 9 rows of small metal chains together to give you a look that part biker chick part uptown girl. I think I have a crush.

Although I have a strand of classic pearls I’m rarely doing my version of the Queen Elizabeth look (yes I mean traditional and formal). But I do love a modern pearl look that is less studied and more well, spontaneous looking. That’s why I am taken with this Aqua Multi Faux Pearl and Ribbon Necklace ($38). It gives me the feeling of haphazard placement and looks like it handle the wear and tear that accompanies a busy life. Plus they may give my Queen Elizabeth a new twist.

As I continue my accessory theme this week I remain on the hunt for pieces that make a statement. This year jewelry designers are using some interesting material. These handmade Wendy Mink ($55) stunners are hand-crafted from raffia, which is pretty lightweight and won’t stress or stretch out those delicate holes. They’re adorned with lavender quartz accents which combines the funky and the classic. Sounds like a dynamic duo to me.

Okay, so I’m thinking ahead to all those holiday parties. And frankly, this is not the year that most of us are going to run out and buy a bunch of new dressy outfits. The solution? Accessories. I’ve got my eye on these J Crew Infinity Earrings ($65) because they channel some retro estate find. Put these clear glass danglers on with last year’s LBD and you’ll be bauble-licious.
