But urban teens and young fashionistas have become obsessed over the past few years—leading the charge for obscenely priced gear. But the Associated Press is reporting that the tide may be turning. Turns out the economy has started to shift the thinking of some urban youth away from the quest for high priced duds to gasp, more essential purchases.
