The Big Bang Theory

Once every two to three years or so I get the urge to cut bangs. The problem is that after about a week my forhead starts breaking out and I can’t find a flattering way to brush them to the side. Also, if not done correctly, bangs have the potential to transport me back to my tweenage years, which as a working professional  I don’t really need to revisit.  So, as the urge to cut wells up once again I’m deciding to do a little research before my next salon visit. I need a style that says both autumn and ease. Bang styles can speak volumes about someone’s personality, but at that root of it there are some basic guidelines the must be followed. The Secret to Finding A New Stylist

I usually cut my own hair. Well, I have been for the past two years. It’s hard being a hairstylist and letting other people do your hair. We always want it done our way. We envision what we want to see and we know the way that we would achieve the look. This past week, however, I decided that I wanted to be pampered, and I got my hair cut by someone else for a change. I chose a stylist I work with at the Paul Labrecque Salon and Spa in New York City. I have observed her work over the past year and I like it. She has fun with her cuts, so. . . I let her go to work. It took everything in my power to just sit there. It came out a little shorter than I wanted, but I needed it and it is VERY CUTE. Read the full story
