All I can say is some folks make dressing up on Halloween an art form. That’s the best way to describe ANTM alum’s Eva Marcille Pigford’s 25th birthday shindig in Manhattan on Saturday night. She kept it all sexy and subtle while fiance, Lance Gross, went for the capital “D” for Drama.

As you already know, most of the women who’ve been contestants (or winners of) Tyra’s juggernaut brand “America’s Next Top Model” have not actually gone on to be successful models. But there three sisters who managed to parlay that exposure into a career. After Toccara Jones finished battling with Dr. Ian Smith on two separate seasons of “Celebrity Fit Club” she’s been sashaying her new svelte body all over BET and also has a workout DVD for ‘real size women’ ($19.99). The other two are the ones who battled for the crown on Cycle 3 Eva Marcille (nee Pigford) and Yaya Dacosta. Although Eva prevailed, Yaya has given her a run for the money is landing good acting gigs. And YaYa’s latest gig is indeed a coup—she’s been cast as the new Nico (Wilhemina Slater’s daughter) on “Ugly Betty”. And it’s not a single guest shot, the sister will have a recurring role. Here’s another reason we can call soap opera’s daytime dramas: the number of black characters, particularly women, continue to dwindle at a startling rate. After the loss of fan favorite, Victoria Rowell on The Young and the Restless (they threw her off a cliff) and the return of Debbi Morgan (and Darnell Williams) on AMC, here’s a look at the sister’s populating these fictional towns with contract roles:
